Hyatt Place Kansas City/Overland Park/Metcalf

By far the best breakfast I've had at a hotel! The fitness center was clean and didn't smell funky like most hotels I've stayed in. The room was amazing! I didn't expect it to be so big, with a couch, office area, large TV, sleeping area, bathroom, vanity, AND closet! And no matter what side of the building you are staying on, you're going to get a good view. The west side faces Metcalf Ave and you can look out over the Overland Park area. The east side, where I was, faces a line of trees and the parking lot, BUT you can see the sunrise and get the beautiful early morning light. It's also within walking distance of food and coffee and there is a bus stop right down the street to get to downtown Overland Park.

Everything! The check-in staff was very friendly and check-in was very quick. The rooms and entire property was very well maintained. We enjoyed every second at this hotel. Elevator conversations pretty well mimicked our experience as well. I wish these hotels were available at every stop on our trip!

The staff was awesome. The hotel was very clean but a little tired. They have monitors showing a coming soon "refresh" which will greatly enhance the property.

The hotel was clean and staff were very friendly. We saw the staff enjoying themselves while working which was really nice to see. Our room was clean and comfortable. The continental breakfast was very good!

The rooms were very tidy except for a few candy wrappers found on the floor that were not ours. The bed were very comfortable. The staff were exceedingly friendly and very informative. The breakfast was a great value too, many things to choose from. GREAT LOCATION.
